RCSC Prayaas

Prayaas-Rehabilitation Centre for Special Children is a project of Indian Council for Child Welfare, U.T., Chandigarh. Prayaas has its own 5 storey building with basement. This centre established in 1985& offers OPD services provides to the Special Children who are suffering from following disabilities;-

  • Cerebral palsy
  • Autism
  • Neurological Developmental Disorder
  • Hearing & Speech Impairment
  • Down Syndrome
  • Mental Retardation
  • Available Services/facilities of RCSC-Prayaas
  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech therapy
  • Clinical Psychology with IQ
  • Special Education
  • Prayaas Preparatory School
  • Dental & Oral Health Clinic
  • Consultation services from the doctors of PGIMER, Chandigarh

Course Coordinator (1 Post)

Master Degree in Special Education, Child Development, Psychology or Social Work with a min. of 3 years work experience out of which min. 1 year teaching experience in the field of Cerebral Palsy.
Age Limit 18 – 40 yrs (Relaxable)

Consolidated Rs.30,000/- per month

Lecturer/ Special Educator (Full Time) (1 Post)

Post Graduate Diploma in any Rehabilitation Science or B.Ed. in Special Education or a Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Child Development with two years working experience out of which min. 1 year teaching in the field of rehabilitation for the Cerebral Palsy.

Age Limit 18 – 35 yrs (Relaxable)

Consolidated Rs. 25,000/- per month
